Roots Seutlwadi Investments currently looking for an outstanding and result orientated professional to join our HR Team.

Requirements

• National Diploma in Human Resources Management or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years working experience with 5 years in a supervisory role within the mining environment
• Solid knowledge, interpretation and application of HR policies, practices, procedures and statutory requirements
• Knowledge of legislation (BCEA, LRA, COIDA, Act, EE, OSH Act, etc.)
• Competent in Ms Office

Key Responsibilities

• Leading the Operational HR Team across multiple divisions of the company.
• Ensure standardisation and implement best practice principles within the HR Domain.
• Coordinate and assist Operations Management with all labour and human resources needs on site.
• Monitor and Coordinate all recruitment & selection value chain processes.
• Management of daily Labour Availability to support the business
• Submit weekly and monthly payroll is submitted and processed on time
• Provide guidance and advice in terms of policies, standards and procedures
• Ensure labour movements and plans are effected in the relevant system
• Facilitate all Employee Relations matters and advise on disciplinary policy, process and procedures.
• Monitor and manage all HR Legal compliance segments proactively i.e.COF, Training, Annual Leave.
• Handle litigation and wage negotiations.

Competencies

• Reporting of an initiating correction related to irregularities and deviations from company policy and procedure.
• Provide weekly and monthly reports on all HR related matters
• Ensure action on Absenteeism, Time slackness and Misuse of sick leave disciplinary enquiries and compile reports
• Ensure accurate and timely information relating to labour in your area of responsibility
